Product Description
The windshield washer pump is a critical component of your Toyota vehicle‘s windshield washing system. This electric pump is mounted directly to the washer fluid reservoir and is responsible for drawing washer fluid from the reservoir and spraying it through the nozzles onto the windshield . When activated, the pump generates the pressure needed to deliver a steady stream of cleaning fluid to help clear dirt, debris, and other contaminants from the windshield . For Toyota Camry, RAV4, Prius, Avalon, and compatible models, a properly functioning washer pump ensures clear visibility in all weather conditions, contributing to safe driving . This component is manufactured to factory specifications, providing reliable performance and durability.
Consider replacing your windshield washer pump if you experience any of the following symptoms:
Washer fluid does not spray onto the windshield when the button is pressed
Only a weak or intermittent stream of fluid comes out of the nozzles
Washer motor makes an unusually loud or grinding noise when activated
The pump runs but no fluid is delivered (check fluid level first)
Visible fluid leaks around the pump mounting area
The washer pump has stopped working and the fuse is intact
Washer fluid is frozen in the reservoir (this can damage the pump)
Note: Washer pumps are wear items that can fail over time due to age, debris contamination, or running dry. If the pump motor runs but the spray is weak, a clogged filter screen may be the cause; if cleaning doesn‘t help, the pump should be replaced.

1 x Windshield Washer Pump. Note: Washer fluid reservoir, hoses, and mounting hardware are NOT included unless stated. Please confirm compatibility with your Toyota model and year before purchasing.
Important: Work in a well-ventilated area. Locate the washer fluid reservoir in the engine bay. Remove the reservoir if necessary to access the pump. Disconnect the electrical connector from the old pump. Remove the old pump from the reservoir by pulling it out (it is typically a push-fit or twist-lock design). Clean the reservoir mounting area. Install the new pump by pushing it into the reservoir grommet until it is fully seated. Reconnect the electrical connector. Refill the reservoir with washer fluid. Test the pump operation by activating the washer switch. Check for fluid leaks around the pump mounting area. Professional installation is recommended if you are not familiar with vehicle electrical systems.
