Product Description

 Core Product Description

The 48830-0N010 Toyota Stabilizer Link is a rear suspension component for select Toyota and Lexus rear-wheel-drive models. Also known as a sway bar link, stabilizer bar link, or rear stabilizer link, this part connects the rear stabilizer bar to the suspension control arm. The stabilizer link plays a key role in reducing body roll during cornering, improving vehicle stability and handling.

The stabilizer link features a ball joint design at both ends, allowing articulation with suspension movement while maintaining the connection between the stabilizer bar and suspension. Over time, the ball joints and bushings can wear out, leading to clunking noises, reduced handling performance, and uneven tire wear.

This component is a direct replacement part designed for both left and right rear positions

Why Choose This Stabilizer Link?

Factory Specification Quality – This stabilizer link is manufactured to the exact standards of the original suspension component, ensuring proper fit and reliable performance for your REIZ or CROWN .

Restores Cornering Stability – Worn stabilizer links allow excessive body roll, making the vehicle feel unstable in corners. This new link restores proper anti-roll function, keeping your vehicle stable and predictable through turns.

Eliminates Suspension Noise – Clunking and rattling from worn stabilizer links can be annoying and concerning. This new link eliminates these noises, providing a quiet, comfortable ride .

Prevents Tire Wear – Worn stabilizer links can contribute to uneven tire wear by allowing excessive suspension movement. Replacing them helps maintain proper alignment and tire life.

Direct Replacement – Precision-engineered to match the original link specifications. Direct bolt-on replacement – no modifications required.

Quality Construction – Manufactured with durable materials to withstand demanding driving conditions and provide long service life. The link features quality rubber bushings that resist wear and provide reliable suspension performance.

Package Contents

1 x Rear Stabilizer Link. Note: The opposite side link is NOT included.  Replacing the stabilizer links on both sides together is recommended for balanced suspension performance.

Installation Tips

Important: Ensure the vehicle is safely supported on jack stands before working under the vehicle. Remove the rear wheel on the side you are working on. Locate the stabilizer link connecting the stabilizer bar to the suspension arm. Remove the old link by loosening and removing the mounting nuts/bolts. Compare the new link to the old one to ensure correct length and fit. Install the new link and tighten the nuts/bolts to the factory torque specification using original mounting hardware . Do not over-tighten as this can damage the bushings. Both sides should be at equal tension. Lower the vehicle and test drive to confirm the clunking noise is eliminated and handling feels stable. Note: Replacing stabilizer links on both sides is recommended, as both sides experience similar wear. Professional installation is recommended if you are not familiar with suspension repairs. After replacement, a rear wheel alignment is recommended to ensure proper handling and tire wear.

Common Issues with Stabilizer Links

We sometimes encounter stabilizer link issues: Bushing wear and cracking – Rubber bushings harden and crack over time, causing noise and reduced stabilizer effectiveness . Dust boot deterioration – The rubber dust boot can fail, allowing contamination to enter the ball joint and accelerating wear. Clunking noise – A worn or broken stabilizer link may cause a rapid clanking noise when going over bumps . High mileage – Vehicles with high mileage are more prone to stabilizer link failure. This replacement link is designed to address these issues with quality materials and precise manufacturing, restoring proper suspension function and ride comfort.

Related Product Recommendations

When replacing the stabilizer link on the rear suspension, it is often recommended to inspect and consider replacing the following related components at the same time. These parts share the same suspension system and replacing them together can save labor time and improve overall ride quality and handling.

Stabilizer Link (Opposite Side) – Replace the stabilizer link on the opposite rear side at the same time to maintain balanced handling and even wear.

Stabilizer Bar Bushings – The stabilizer bar is held to the chassis by bushings. These can wear out and contribute to clunking noises and handling issues.
