Installation Key Points (Expanded)

Step Details
Preparation Engine must be completely cooled before operation. Disconnect battery negative terminal. Drain coolant and engine oil.
Surface Preparation Cylinder block and cylinder head mating surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned — free of oil, dirt, and old gasket residue.
Bolt Replacement Cylinder head bolts are single-use (torque-to-yield design). They must be replaced with new ones after removal — reusing them is not acceptable.
Tightening Sequence Tighten progressively from the center outward in a cross pattern. Follow 3–4 steps to reach the specified torque.
Angle-Tightening (Torque-to-Yield) Procedure Final stage: rotate the bolts by an additional 90°–180° (refer to the OEM service manual for exact specs).
Sealant Application Apply a small amount of sealant at designated points (strictly follow the OEM service manual instructions).
Coolant Refill Use a vacuum filler or manually bleed the system to prevent air pockets / vapor lock.
Pre-Start Inspection Inspect all hose and line connections. Refill engine oil and coolant before starting the engine.
Post-Start Inspection Let the engine idle and check for leaks, abnormal noise, or overheating.
